Find NPC Teachers in Jujutsu Legacy
Locate every NPC teacher in Jujutsu Legacy Roblox — Yuji for Cursed Energy and Black Flash, Miwa for Simple Domain (H), Yuta for Reverse Cursed Technique (R).
Why NPC Teachers Matter
Combat in Jujutsu Legacy on Roblox extends far beyond your rolled technique and clan. Four foundational skills — Cursed Energy, Black Flash, Simple Domain, and Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) — must be learned from NPC teachers scattered around Jujutsu High before you can compete in PvP, survive boss fights, or efficiently farm raids. Without these skills, even an S-tier technique like Ten Shadows or Infinity underperforms because you cannot enhance M1s, block enemy techniques, or heal mid-fight.
Each teacher is a specific NPC with a fixed location. Unlike quest givers who move through numbered quest chains, teachers stay in place permanently once you know where to look. This guide maps every teacher location with step-by-step directions from Jujutsu High spawn, plus the keybind for each skill on PC. Mobile players should check our mobile controls guide for equivalent button layouts.
Learning order matters for progression efficiency. Cursed Energy first (free), Black Flash second (free), RCT third (free from Yuta near level 10 quests), and Simple Domain last (costs 100,000 yen). Follow this sequence as a new player before pushing into Shibuya or Metro content.
Yuji — Cursed Energy Teacher
What he teaches: Cursed Energy activation — the core system that enhances all combat abilities.
Keybind: Press B on PC to toggle Cursed Energy on and off.
Cost: Free.
Location: From Jujutsu High spawn, enter the main Jujutsu School building — the large structure near the spin NPCs. Once inside, look to your left. Yuji stands in the left wing of the school interior, near the area where new players first explore after spawning. He is the same Yuji NPC who also teaches Black Flash at a different outdoor location.
Cursed Energy is non-negotiable for all content. When active, your M1 attacks deal cursed damage, techniques cost cursed energy to use, and Black Flash becomes eligible to proc. Always enter fights with Cursed Energy toggled on. If your energy bar depletes, toggle off briefly to regenerate, then reactivate with B. Pair Cursed Energy knowledge with our PC controls guide for the full keybind reference including M1 combos and blocking.
New players sometimes walk past Yuji while rushing to the spin building. Before spending any technique spins, visit Yuji and learn Cursed Energy — it takes five seconds and permanently upgrades your combat baseline.
Yuji — Black Flash Teacher
What he teaches: Black Flash — a powerful proc that has a 10% chance to activate on each M1 hit while Cursed Energy is active.
Keybind: Automatic proc on M1 — no separate button.
Cost: Free.
Location: Exit the Jujutsu School and look to your right from spawn. Follow the dirt road that leads toward the houses outside the school grounds. Yuji appears again along this road, standing near the residential area east of the school. The path is straightforward — head right from the school entrance, follow the dirt trail, and you will see Yuji waiting near the houses.
Black Flash adds a significant damage spike to your M1 strings. The 10% proc rate means roughly every tenth hit in a combo triggers the effect, which becomes noticeable over long boss fights and PvP exchanges. There is no cost to learn it, so grab it immediately after Cursed Energy during your first session.
This outdoor Yuji location is also the reference point for finding Miwa, the Simple Domain teacher, who is hidden behind the houses further back. Learn Black Flash first since Miwa's location uses this spot as a starting reference.
Miwa — Simple Domain Teacher
What she teaches: Simple Domain — a defensive technique that blocks incoming enemy curse techniques.
Keybind: Press H on PC to activate Simple Domain.
Cost: 100,000 Yen.
Location: Start at the Black Flash Yuji location (outside the school, right side, dirt road toward houses). From there, dash or run behind the houses until you reach the rocks at the far back of the area. Miwa stands near these rocks, partially hidden from the main path. She is easy to miss if you do not go far enough behind the buildings.
Simple Domain is expensive at 100,000 yen for new players, but it is essential before attempting bosses, raids, or PvP against technique-heavy opponents. It creates a barrier that negates enemy curse technique damage for the duration — critical against bosses like Heian Sukuna, Divine General, and Meguna who rely on technique attacks rather than pure M1 damage.
Save yen from early quests (Gogo's student fights and numbered quest chain) before visiting Miwa. Our level-up guide covers the fastest yen farming routes if you need 100K quickly. Once learned, use Simple Domain proactively during boss telegraphed attacks rather than reactively after taking damage.
Yuta — Reverse Cursed Technique Teacher
What he teaches: Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) — the healing ability that restores health by converting cursed energy.
Keybind: Press R on PC to activate RCT.
Cost: Free.
Location: Yuta is located near the level 10 quest area outside Jujutsu High. From spawn, follow the main quest path where numbered quest NPCs (Gogo and subsequent quest givers) guide you through early progression. Yuta stands along this route, accessible once you reach the level 10 quest zone. He is not inside the school — look along the outdoor quest path where mid-early game NPCs congregate.
RCT is the most important survival tool in Jujutsu Legacy. It converts cursed energy into health recovery, letting you sustain through long boss fights, raid wave grinds, and PvP wars of attrition. Every endgame build — Ten Shadows, Infinity, Heavenly Restriction — relies on RCT for viability. Learn it as soon as you reach the level 10 area, well before you need it for Shibuya or Metro.
Combat tip: toggle Cursed Energy off momentarily to regenerate energy, then use RCT to heal, then reactivate Cursed Energy with B. This cycle keeps you alive during extended fights. For Shinjuku and raid content, RCT is not optional — it is mandatory. Review our Heian Sukuna guide for RCT usage in the hardest boss fight in the game.
